I am still looking for more information on the background of soldier HANS FORS. I have just found a little more, and wonder if someone else out there can add to this or verify it.
Hans was HANS JONSSON (JANSSON, JOENSSON) FORS, born 22 Nov 1788 at Hålan, Fors parish. He married 6 Jan 1819 to INGRID JANSDOTTER, born 29 Nov 1792. They had these 8 children: Johan (1820), Ellika (1822), Anna Gretha (1824), Maria (1826), Anders (1829), Andreas (1832), Carl (1835), and my Maria (1838). I assume all were born at Fors Gästgivaregården.
Hans was the son of JAN (JOEN, JOHAN, JEAN) ANDERSSON and ANNA HANSDOTTER. Jan was probably the Johan Andersson born at Håla, Hålan, 1743; son of ANDERS JOHANSSON and JOHANNA PÄRSDOTTER. Anna Hansdotter was born circa 1751-52. I cannot find the marriage for Jan and Anna in Fors parish, nor her birth date. Jan and Anna had at least 12 children born, all at Hålan, between 1772 and 1795.
ANDERS JONSSON and PÄRSDOTTER were married 1728 in Fors; he of Torpet, and she of Flundrewalla. There is a birth for a ANDERS JOENSSON at Mellangården, 1704; son of JOEN BENGTSSON and ANNA INGERSDOTTER. Is this my Anders??? JOHANNA PÄRSDOTTER was born 1708 at Flundrewalla, dau. of PER JOENSSON and INGRI ANDERSDOTTER.
I still could use some help trying to prove this, and to find out where Anna Hansdotter and Ingrid Jansdotter came from.
