My grandfather was Johan (John) Axel Anderrson. John was born in 1863. He was married to Anna Johanna Johnsdotter (Hannah Olson). She was born in 1862. They are thought to have resided near Goteborg, perhaps members of Gustavi Parish. Shortly before immigrating to the U.S. in 1891 he adopted the last name Sjoberg... the name of the Estate where he worked near Goteborg. We know of two sisters, Sophia Dahlberg and Olivia Andersson (?)and one brother, Fredrick Andersson.
Sophia was born in 1868 and her husband in 1863. Mr. Dalberg worked for 14 years at Partelle Harrgard Estate. They had two children: Kalle (Carl) born in 1901 and Svea born in 1908.
Another sister, Olivia, lived in Alingsäs. She had six children. The oldest boy supported the family. And one of the girls lived in Norway.
A brother, Fredrick, had a son that immigrated to America. Nothing is known about when this occurred or where he settled. His name was given as Kalle (Carl).
Any information regarding any of these individuals will be very much appreciated; and a huge assist to the fourteen year study that I have been doing of my family ancestry.
