Hallo Rhonda! I have some descendants from Nils Morén b. 1855 who was married to Britta Degerfeldt. They had the children Axel b. 1887, Karl b. 1892 and Emma f. 1893 who all emigrated to Two Harbors in Minnesota, USA. Emma was married to a Norwegian called Ropnes. They hade the daughters Birgit and Astrid Ropnes. An another son was John Oskar b. 12/1 1898 in Degerbyn. The family moved to the village of Stämningsgården in 1903.
John Oskar Morén was married to Linda Viklund b. 22/12 1892 at Bodan, parish of Skellefteå and they had the son Allan Johannes Morén b. 10/7 1922 d. 14/3 1978. Allan was married to Ellen Altea b. 12/11 1917 from Bjurfors and they had the children Eva Öhman who lived in Vistträsk in the parish of Älvsbyn, Lilian Berggren b. 21/6 1948 and Lars Morén b. 22/3 1956 who is working as a social worker in Uppsala.
I have more information about the family. I am writing a book about the village of Stämningsgården so if you have more information about the family in America I would be grateful.
