Hello. Sorry I don't know swedish, but was told in another posting I should post my query here. My great-grandmother, Maria Sophie Karlsdotter, was born in the Parish of Degerfors (now Vindeln, I understand),Province of Västerbotten (on July 11, 1884). I was able to find her and her family in the 1890 census. I would love to find information about her parents as well as emigration information for the family (supposedly she came to the USA with her mother). Any additional information you may be able to provide me about my great-grandmother would be greatly appreciated. I would love to contact living relatives in Sweden.
