Sue: 1) Oäkta refers to the fact that he was born out of wedlock, i.e. he was an illegitimate child. By reading about Dagmar's family I see that she was two months from being labeled that too (the parents married on the 24 April 1896 and she was born on the 28 June 1896, so her mother must have had a big belly during the wedding -- not too uncommon, am I afraid).
4)The birth record is full of abrieviations, my interpretation of it is that she was the daughter of a hemmansägare, not a hemmansägare herself.
