Sue Here is a picture from the birth record of John Sigurd Odén, born Oct 29, 1914 and baptized June 8 1915. Birthbook Tveta CI:10, page 74 The other picture shows his mothers family a couple of years earlier. Tveta AIIa:1, page 142
His mother Dagmar Naemi Odén was the daughter of the farmer Johan August Johannesson Odén and his wife Sara Matilda Gustafsdotter. The word hemmansägare means that he was the owner of the farm.
Dagmar moved to America in September 1916 and her son became a foster child in Sunne, a bit further north in the province of Värmland. He came back to Tveta in 1924 and moved on later the same year to Säffle. Cant find him there.
