Per Göthe: I am trying to put my Stockhaget ancestors together and I see you have a good knowledge of the Court records for Visnum Härad. The only place I have found the last name of Hemming of Stockhaget is in the Court Record of Sep 1713. My understanding of the record is that Jon Svensson of Östra Guttebol Rudskoga socken and his underage siblings Karin, Ingiel, and Brita Svensdotter's step father is the deceased Gulbrand Bengtsson of Edsgarden and their mother is Hemming Larrson of Stockhaget half sister. I am not sure what the reference to the deceased Olof Svensson of Rud is about. Can you answer that question and tell me if I missed anything else in that record. My understanding of Swedish is limited. This entry along with the court record of Oct 1698 helped answer many question. Are there any other entries in the Court records that would help me with my Stockhaget family. My ancestors are Hemming Larsson's dotter Brita and Sven and Elin Jönsdotter's dotter Brita who married Eric Svensson of Linhult. Thank you for any help Carolyn San Leandro, California, USA
