Hej,

My Swedish is bad, so i will not bother insulting you all and hope someone knows English enough to help me.

i have spent two winters researching my family in Sweden before they came over to the US in the late 1800.

My GGmother came over in 1868 and it is her family from the Brickegärden area that i am looking for help on. i have done the lions share of the work, since the parish books are somewhat easy to follow. but i would like someone to fact check me and fill in the nice little details.

i dont want to overwhelm anyone with references, so i will just give a start and some basic info until we get into it. Also i have a little controversy because my GGGuncle wrote a autobiography that doesnt line up with the facts, so i need to know weather i missed something or his 80 year old recollection was just a bit off.

My Family from this region came from Brickegärden, Österhult ,    Äsphögden, Utteback and such, so all arount the Karlskoga region.

My starting point in Sweden is Christina Lovisa Andersdotter 1848
This is the only time Anders Ersson entire family would be under one Roof

i have all of Christina Lovias family back 4 full generations, but again i don't want to trash up my initial request for help, ask and you shall receive anything and everything i have, because i well know that it takes hours and hours to trace back through the books. i wouldnt want someone to think they have to redo it.

I have hundreds of references and i don want to post them on my first post, fearing i would offend or scare away people, but if someone was familiar with this area and could help me read the god awful handwriting, maybe help find some other references such as household inventories or court records.

I have many questions about this, so any and all help would be appreciated.

Thank You in advance,
Pete Malmberg
