Hello,
I am wondering if the #70 Jon born 23/9 1802 could be my great great great grandfather, Jon Jonsson who moved to Vinger, Norway. In the June, 1825 Vinger marriage records it says a Swedish batchlor, 22 years old married a Norwegian girl from Vinger, Lisbeth Embrethsdatter Lonhoiden. All of his children were born in Vinger, Norway. Jon Jonssen died on the farm Bendikstorpet in March, 1864 at age 61 years. There is no place in the Norwegian records that show where in Vermland he was born. I have checked the Ostmark, Vermland and there doesn't seem to be anyone by that name who he could be. I have also checked the birth records of Grasmark and Eda. I am wondering if it could be narrowed down to this Jon Jonsson born in Gunnarskog that moved to Vinger. Thanks so much! Best Regards!
