Clark, According to the Family Search's individual record and Ancestry Jan's mother was Kari Torstensdotter. According to Ancestry the name of the village where they lived is Tröttvik(?). To the right on the page are the persons who witnessed the christening: Lars Persson and wife Ingebor Elofsdotter in Tröttvik(?) (maybe Jon's parents), Jöns Persson in unreadable and the married woman Kari Håkansdotter in Tröttvik(?) (obviously a neighbor, maybe a relative).
