I am searching for my great Grandfather and his parents. My grandmother Emma Kristina Oleson was born Sept 1, 1878. She married Alrck Johanesson on Oct 30, 1898. They lived in Alby and/or Stugun. before emigrating to Canada in 1904. Emma,s parents were Olaf Persson (born 28 Dec 1846) and Kristina Katrina Karlsdotter (born 19 Jun 1858). This is where I am having problems . The parents of Olaf Persson......I have found a Per Christophersson (born 20 Jun 1822)and a Marta Olesdotter (born 1812). They were born in Gräsmark Varmland. I cannot find their marriage anywheres. Maybe they are not the parents of Olof Persson. I found these 2 listed as Mother and Father to Olof Persson on a sight that could not be confirmed. I am hoping that some one can shed some light on this for me. Thanx so very much. Besides a posting on here could I also get an email sent directly to me.
