Hi
I need help in finding anything out about my relatives.
My GGG was Mathias (Harg) Norberg b 1834 He married Johannan Osterman b 1837 His second marriage was to Anna Maria Olsdotter 1841. He was a seaman in the Navy 1858-72 Norberg was his seaman name
Children Jan Eric - born 1860 - my great grandfather Caroline - born 1863 Matilda - born 1866 Anna Josephina - born 1868 Mathilda -born 1871 Christina Charlotte - born 1874 Carl Victor - born 1877 Hilma Augusta - born 1882
Recorded in Vaddo parish records for Norsundt and Rangamo in 1872.
From 1882 Jan Eric was listed individually. In 1892 he was transferred as a person persumed missing.
Jan Eric came to NZ and married my Great Grandmother in 1899. They had 6 children, my granfather being one of them.
I just want to find any out about the family as the family here thought he was an orphan
