Per, Thank you so much. The month of birth matches, but not the year. Our census gives 1839, but then there are many errors on the census.I found a ships manifest entry online that I think may be her. She is 46 years old in 1887, travelling alone and titled as Mrs, but single..?widow??She arrived in NY from Sweden via Copenhagen on the SS Hekla.
