Janet, Don't know if this is news for you. According to the mantalslängd (poll tax register) 1863, David Bagares gata 19 was the home of the midwife mentioned in the birth register. I had a look in the mantalslängds 1883-88, when Fredrika Wilhelmina lived with the misses Lundh in Stockholm. These records contain more detailed information than Rotemannen. It seems during this period she studied housekeeping and spent time in other parts of the country, mostly in Uppsala. In 1887 she was in Älmhult, Småland, although officially still living in Stockholm. No clues about the parents. Her relationship to the Lundhs might be interesting. At the same time as Fredrika, a young opera singer O G A Lundh lived with them. He too was born oäkta in 1861 and the unknown mother was the same age as one of the misses Lundh. mvh, Peter
