...Is a helpful history (in English) available for  
Swedish Lutheran Church that includes  
highlights for 16th and 17th centuries in  
Kalmar & Jonkoping, Smaland? Have recently  
learned of ancestry in Kalmar that includes  
four parsons from that period and wish to  
begin better understanding the church history.  
The parsons were Gudmund Petri (??-1635),  
Torslunda, Oland; Josephus Andrae  
(??-1588), Ljungby, Kalmar; Alexander  
Clementis Gryphius (1585-1655), Virserum,  
Hultsfreds; Clemens Jonae (Grip) Gryphius  
(??-abt 1609). Virserum, Hultsfreds. Also will  
appreciate being in contact with anyone else  
having these people in their ancestry or  
knowing more about these lines. Thank you!
