Loosely the record reads that Carl, son of blacksmith [hofslagare, modern spelling hovslagare] Oluf Blom and his wife Catharina Andersdotter in Knutsbråten was born on the 15th of March and baptised on the 14th! That must be a clerical error and most probably he was born on the 14. I'm not sure you have found the right family though. They're on pages 118-119 of Vrigstad examination record 1754-1775 AI:2, but I can't find Carl mentioned there. Maybe baby Carl died young?
