My Grandfather is Hjalmar Malkom (aka Elmer Malcolm Johnson), born 9/19/1883 in Vittaryd parish, Kronobergs. His parents are: Johan Anders Viktor b. 8/20/1848 in Berga parish, Kronobergs. Ida Christina Johansdotter b. 3/26/1861 in Berga parish. Parents of Johan Anders Victor are: Anders Djurström and Johanna Jönsdoter.
I have the KGFs db, and I see the birth of Johan Anders Viktor documented (268870 - this is the reference # on the cd). I also see 4 other children with parents called Anders Djurström and Johanna Jönsdoter. Ingrid Cajsa 2/10/1843 (114807) Britta Cathrina 2/15/1845 (189026) Anna Maria 3/7/1857 (114898) Emilia Mathilda 3/10/1867 (127461)
However, the parents' ages for those 4 births do not 'line up' with the ages of the parents at the time of Johan Anders Viktor's birth. Not knowing a lot about the record keeping, is it possible that the ages were documented in error in 1848? Or is it more likely that the names are just a coincidence, and Johan Anders Viktor is not related to the other 4 girls? Thank-you for any insight into this information.
