There is an Ida Sofia born 7 Nov in Vimmerby town parish, she is in the PLF CD of births. Her parents are JA Persson and Lovisa Josefina Jonsdotter. It does not sound right though, she should have had another patronymicon (her father?s first name+ daughter). However, she emigrates to America in 1888, listed as Ida Sofia Johansdotter, like many others she may have taken her father?s name later at emigration, ie Persson. People were told that they had to get a proper family name when they arrived in America. In the household census her father Johan August Persson has a note saying ran away in 1887 to America). It also says that he was born in 1840 (23 oct) in Djursdala parish and the mother in 1838 (28 june) in Vimmerby.
