hello,
I'm hoping this is the right place for me to post this question. I'm sorry this is in English, but I only know the phrase valkommen til vart hem (sp?) in Swedish, which won't be much help to me here.
I'm looking for information on Augusta Mathilde Anderson (my Great-Grandmother) born 1878 at a place called 10 acres. She left for the United States when she was 18, and arrived in New York. I understand she lived on her uncle's farm with her family. Her family was supposed to have followed her to the US, but family history says their ship went down during it's passage. My Mother and Aunts say that my G-Grandmother never talked about Sweden and her life prior to arriving in the US, so other than the birthdate (year) and where she came from, I have no other information. I would appreciate any help offered!
