To: Bo Persson Thank you for the prompt answer. Did Vimmerby Kommun have a central birth registry for all parishes in that region? Otherwise, I guess I will have to look at the births in all of the seven other parishes. I am certain of the birthdate of Maria Christina Larsdotter as 17 June 1855, and her date of emigration as 1872. If by chance, she was the child of a soldier stationed in Vimmerby kommun, would the records be at some other location? Thank you, Brian Johannesson-Almquist Ahland, Oregon, USA
