My name is Brian Johannesson-Almquist and I am looking for information on my great-grandmother, Maria Christina Larsdotter, born 17 June 1855 in Vimmerby, Kalmar lan, who emigrated to North America in 1872. I do not know which parish she was from, but I know there are about 10 parishes in Vimmerby township. My cousin Goran Johansson in Malmback tells me that one person responded that there was no one by that name born in Vimmerby parish. Another person responded that there was a Maria Larsdotter-Mack who emigrated in 1872, but was born 25 September 1849. Could someone please help me find my great-grandmother and her family.
