I am responding once more to say that I received wonderful information from the Stockholm's Seamen's Registry as Elisabeth had suggested regarding Albin Lind.
From January 13, 1902 to April 8, 1902 Albin was a charcoal-burner on a boat between Gothenburg and Burnt Island. On May 13, 1902 he signed on the ship Najaden in Aarhus and on September 13, 1902 he left the ship in Dovre.
Now I would like to know where all of these places are. I've found there are various places with the name of Burnt Island, both in the US and Canada, but I cannot identify which one would have been the route from Gothenburg or which boat would have been used for these trips.
After leaving the ship in Dovre, where might he have boarded (or jumped) a ship to come to America?
