I am trying to find information about Börtha Svensdotter, wife of Pehr Rasmusson, and my g-g-g-g grandmother. As Sture Berg posted above, she died in 1823 at Halsen u. Bua in Lyse.
According to the church book for Lyse, she was 74 (f 1749) when she died. But in the Husförhörslängder for Rordahl u. Säm (Brastad 1804-1809), it states she was born in 1757.
Pehr & Börtha had children in Brastad from 1796-1803. I don't know when they moved to Lyse, but I think it must have been soon after 1809. I don't find Pehr & Börtha at Rordahl/Säm in the Husförhörslängder for 1810-1815.
Does anyone find a Husförhörslängder for Lyse during the years from 1809-1823? Maybe I can get a better idea of when she was born... and then maybe I can find her parents.
