Hello, I'm trying to learn if a village named Ljungbacka is located near Frödinge, and which parish church would have records for Ljungbacka.
I have a death notice for the mother of my great-grandmother, Emma C. (Lindstrom) Johnson (born 1862-09 July). Emma emigrated to Philadelphia in the 1880s with her husband, Lawrence Daniel Johnson. The English translation of the death notice reads:
Announces that My Dear Beloved Wife MARGARETA KRISTINE quiet and peacefully died in Ljungbacka Sunday the 12th of June 1898 12:30 AM in the age of 63 years 9 months and 2 days deeply mourned and affectionately missed by me, children, grand children, relatives and many friends.
JOHAN LINDSTROM -------------------------------- Our family records show that Margareta Kristina (Nordstrom) Lindstrom was born 1834-10 Sep, but we don't know where. We don't have any information for Johan, either. We have a list of four children, of which Emma C. was one.
