Hello Britt-Marie, Nils-Olof, och Gerth! Thanks so much for your information. Nils J. Nilsson gift Christina Nöjd (Noyd), daughter of Lars Nöjd from Ockelbo and Lena Wallblom from Ovansjö, both in Gästrikland, in Galva, Illinois. Their son, Lawrence gift Vernice Lindstrum. Vernice's ancestors go back to Alfta, Hanebo, Söderala och Österunda, and were followers of Eric Jansson to Bishop Hill.
Please let me know if you'd like more information. Unfortunately, I have no information about Per Nilsson who emigrated in 1870.
