Hello Georgina!
I made a mistake by saying that he came from Finland with his two sons. Carl Fredrik still seems to be born in Finland, but the arrivaldate must be wrong in the books or I read it wrong. After checking the birthnotices for these sons, Anders Wilhelm b.1822 4/1 and Carl Axel b.1826 10/4, both in Bjershult, Fränninge, C.F is the father and Catharina Sophia Carlsdotter their mother.
Another source also gave me Carls birthdate Search soldier, search for Korsman in the field Soldatnamn, 1772 20/8 and also that his wife was born in 1789. Note! this is a secondary source.
Anders Wilhelm moves from Starrarp No.7, Fränninge to Starrarp No.3, Fränninge in 1839. I haven´t been able to read where he goes from there nor what´s happend to Sven Axel, maybe someone else can help?

In the above image you also see another Carl Fredrik, an illegitimate child, anyone you know? The birth notice for C.F. the younger states a Johan Gustav Korsman from Wollsjö as godfather. A check in the birth records gives that this is an older son, b.1819 26/9, of C.F. the older and his wife.
