When I now look at Nils' birth record in Sölvesborg CI:2 (1796-1813) Bild 40 / sid 71 (AID: v96852.b40.s71, NAD: SE/LLA/13397), I see that the name that is crossed over is actually Christjan Berndt, not Berndtsson as I said above. I don't understand what this implies. Is this the same Sissa Nilsdotter or two different? A widow would not be changed to piga, would she? The third row from the bottom in the birth record is added later, can anyone read what it say? If the priest took wrong Sissa, the age probably applies to Christjans wife, not Nils' mother.
