Many thanks for the data on Maja Lisa, and for confirming that she was the same person as Maria Elisabet. Yes, thank you, I did know she had a twin brother who died as an infant. I have the children from the 1890 census, but I have Sten b.1880 recorded as Sven.
I'm finding the Maja's, Stina's, Cajsa's and other names like that, most confusing on the 1890 census. Also, I see people on there that I think must be ours, but the parish of birth is wrong on the census.
For instance, I have a Greta Magdalena Broström b. 28 May 1834, Överluleå (daughter of Anders Johansson Broström and Greta Cajsa Larsdotter). On the 1890 census, there is this lady:

What's your opinion on this one? I have no data on Greta from other censuses, so cannot tell if it is her.
