Hi Diane There are 2 Brita Johanna born in Nederluleå 1838. Neither one with a parent called Höglund nor born on the 10th of May. But I've found her and her daughter Emelie, in Nederkalix kyrkoarkiv, Husförhörslängder, SE/HLA/1010131/A I/9 b (1869-1878) where it says something about moving to Stockholm. I'm afraid I'm not very good at reading the old churchbooks, but maybe you can ask someone in here in the section of LÄSHJÄLP I found her in Stockholm 1878 where it says she is single, without child, and moved in to Stockholm from Muskö in 1878. (Muskö is an island outside of Stockholm) This I found at http://www2.ssa.stockholm.se/Rotemannen2012/SearchResult.aspx At ssa.stockholm.se/rotemansarkivet there are 21 posts in her name.
