There is a parish Storsjö kapell in Jämtland, but there is no Johan Fredrik born 1859 +- a year.
 
As Sven-Åke already told you, it is not too many Johan Fredrik found noted as born in Jämtland about 1859...
 
 
You wrote that emigrated to Minnesota..around 1880.
 
You may not have found him on  Ellis Island then ?
 
Have you tried to put a question under the two discussions regarding emigration from Sweden,
in order to find out where he possibly came from ?

You do have a certain birth date, so hopefully it is fairly right too ...
