Martin, I think I found your family tree on ancestry and I also think you have the wrong August. Let me explain..
I found the following church member record: Name: August Magnusson Gender: Male Baptism Age: 0 Event Type: Member List Birth Date: 9 Jun 1864 Birth Place: Oja, Kromb. l. If you look at it you see his wife Hilda Kristina nee Erickson born May 1st 1882 Eksjö. The have a son, Ralph August.
So, I do think this August Magnusson was Sven August Magnusson born June 9th 1864 Öja parish. Parents Magnus Svensson and Britta Stina Jaensdotter.

I also found his father's estate inventory from 1911 and his son Sven August is listed with an address in Minneapolis.
Based on your tree you're trying to find August Wilhelm born June 19th 1864 Växjö (who's birth month was incorrectly changed to September in later household exam rolls)?
