I read that it was the custom in Sweden in the 1800s for engaged couples to travel to visit their relatives who lived elsewhere in order to introduce the fiancé or fiancée to their families before the wedding. I would like to read about that custom again, but I don't remember where I found the information. Could someone please suggest a source (in English or Swedish)? Thanks very much.Linda Johnson
