Thank you all so much. I have a lot of work ahead of me...
I'm thinking of how my grandfather would have reacted to news that a distant family member deserted to Norway. He had a strong dislike/distrust of the Danish and Norwegians. He would have went on a rant lol.
Is there any other information you can tell me about this family that I won't find in the church records?
