In the Enånger birth record, birth day 13.09.1698, to me it seems to be written:
d 13 Sep föddes Jon Svans och hru Margetas barn på Tytrene och Christnades d 18 vidh nampn Erich. Testes Anders Michelsson och Hans ...(?) ...(?), Oloff Staffansson i Hökeberg(?) och Mageta Jonsdotter
Compare the first letter in the father's last name with the letter S in Sep. To me they look similar. Also: usually there is a line above the letter u. See the two u in the word "hustru" above the fathers last name. These two observations indicate that the father's last name is Svan, not Duan.
In Enånger's mantalslängder (mantle length?) 1698 and 1700 (links below) there is a boatswain (båtsman) in Enånger called Jon/Jonn Svan. He could be the father of the child born 13.9.1698, whose name I think was Erich (not Johan).
