Hello! My name is David Anderson and I am looking for some of my Swedish relatives.
From a search by an owner of the CD Emigranten, I have learned that my great great grandparents (Ur Ur Opa auf deutsch) came from Idenor parish. His name was Per Alsén; his wife's name was Kristina Lundholm or Luedlohn - not sure which or what her maiden was was.
Husband: Per Alsén, age 25, born about 1862 Wife: Kristina Alsén, age 27, born about 1860 Children: Fredrika Alsén, 4, born about 1883 Anna Alsén, 2, born about 1885 Oscar Alsén, 1, born about 1886
From Idenor parish in Hälsingland. Emigrated through Gothenburg (Goteborg?) port, 17 June 1887, destination Hector, Minn. Idenor is 3 km south of Hudiksvall.
Kallkod was EIX:32:337:3302 for the ship Romeo from Goteburg to Hull, England. The emigrant agent was named Larsson. I do not know what the means of travel were from Hull to North America. via Canada? via Boston? via New Orleans? Which ship?
Any more information, anything, would be greatly appreciated.
