Thank you for this. It is very interesting. You are correct that I have not done any research in these books. It may be very difficult, as you have pointed out. I see they can be accessed through Riksarkivet. I will add this to my "todo list." Sounds like it may be too difficult with my lack of knowledge of the Swedish language. But... I never thought I'd be moving around in the tax records, estate inventories and sometimes even the military records! So... hope springs eternal. :)
