It is a god help in the research to find out which custom they used, when they gave there children namn. Different part of Sweden have different customs. In Göinge ( nearby Härad in Skåne) and part of Southern Småland (Värend) they did not give namn after living persons, because it took the lifeforce from the old person too the young child. I do not know exactly the custom in Sunnerbo, but it is possible the same. In the marriage note Elin Jacobsdotter is from Malmeryd. In mantalslängden 1800 is Elin daughter to Jacob Svensson. In Husförhörslängden AIa:3 fol 178; Jacob Svensson f 1726 Hwittaryd, Dead 1818 15/4, and living when Elin have children. And his wife Ingeborg Swensdotter.
