The attached birth record for one of my ancestors, Catharina Samuelsdotter, lists her father’s name, Samuel Larsson, and her mother’s name, Elin with a blank space after it for her patronymic name, which was never filled in.

I found her in the following household records for Hjortseryd, Vrå, Kronoberg:
• 1803-1807 Samuel and Eling with 4 children including Catharina Vrå-G-AI-1-1788-1817-Image-115-Page-215 • 1808-1812 Samuel and Eling with 7 children including Catharina Vrå-G-AI-1-1788-1817-Image-156-Page-297 • 1813-1817 Samuel and Elin with 8 children including Catharina Vrå-G-AI-1-1788-1817-Image-197-Page-379 • 1821-1832 Samuel Larsson and Eling Jacobsdotter with 8 children including Catharina Vrå (G) AI:2 (1821-1832) Image: 25 Page: 35 • 1824-1832 Samuel Larsson and Eling Jacobsdotter with 7 children including Catharina Vrå (G) AI:2 (1821-1832) Image: 108 Page: 201 • 1831-1835 Lists Samuel Larsson and Elin Jacobsdotter with children, Catharina has married in 1834 and is listed separately with her husband on the same page ArkivDigital: Vrå (G) AI:3 (1831-1841) Image: 29 Page: 22
I looked at the birth records for all her siblings and found conflicting information for the mother – her patronymic name is Jacobsdotter once, Blank 3 times, Persdotter twice and Jonsdotter 3 times!
• Johannes b. 1800 was illegitimate, born to Elin Jacobsdotter at age 26, no father listed. • Catharina b. 1802 father Samuel Larsson, mother Elin <BLANK> • Lars b. 1804 father Samuel Larsson, mother Elin Persdotter • Sven b. 1806 father Samuel Larsson, mother Elin <BLANK> • Anna b. 1808 father Samuel Larsson, mother Elin Jonsdotter (Anna died same year) • Anna b. 1809 father Samuel Larsson, mother Elin Jonsdotter • Petter b. 1811 father Samuel Larsson, mother Elin Persdotter • Nils b. 1814 father Samuel Larsson, mother Elin Jonsdotter • Johanna b. 1816 father Samuel, mother Elin <BLANK>
Samuel Larsson appears in the tax records with his family from 1803 through 1839 listing children, sometimes by number and sometimes by name. Samuel Larsson’s name was still listed, but it was crossed out, in 1840. Eling died in March 1839 and Samuel died a couple weeks later.
I know this is a lot of information but I want to try to figure out who Catharina's mother was - all I know for sure is her first name is Elin.
I believe that my ancestor Catharina’s mother’s name was Elin Jacobsdotter – is that a fair assumption? I also believe that Elin Jacobsdotter is the mother of all the children. Samuel Larsson and Elin Jacobsdotter were married in Angelstad in 1801. All the children, with the exception of Johannes b. 1800 were born within the 1801 marriage date and 1839 death dates. . I'd appreciate your thoughts on my assumption and/or if there's anything more I could check.
