This abbreviation is frequently used through the book. Br. is for "brukar"; att bruka - to farm; bruka - farm. The next letters sometimes is gst or get and sometimes gt. On page 14 I found the words "Br. gemensamt", so my educated guess of the meaning of this abbreviation is that the people in the list farmed the farm together. What I have found so far, there is no commonly used abbreviation for the word "gemensamt".
