Hi again! I posted about Carl Magnus Krölings ancestry in another topic (https://forum.rotter.se/index.php?topic=169138.0) here at Anbytarforum. It's in Swedish, though, so briefly summarized:
Carl Magnus K. was born in Stora Örsätter, a farm in Åtvid parish in Östergötland, 1746-10-03. His parents were Jonas Karlsson and Annika Johansdotter. I haven't tracked down their marriage, but it was probably in a neighboring parish in 1738.
Jonas was born 1711-02-04 in Stora Örsätter, parents Karl Olofsson (born about 1673, dead 1742 (buried 1742-05-23)) and Karin Persdotter. When Jonas died in 1750, his kids probably came under the guardianship of his brother Anders, who had taken the name Kröling a few years before.
