An update: Maria C. Bovet, född Margaretha Catharina Wendbom 1 May 1794 in Ulriksdal, Solna parish, Stockholm, daughter of Eric Wendbom (1768-1828) and Anna Catharina Pihlgren (1766- ).
Bouppteckning of her father indicates that she left Sweden in 1813.
She married Pierre Abraham Bovet in Fribourg, Switzerland in 1824 when she was listed as living in Neuchâtel.
I am now trying to locate records for emigration in 1813. I understand that special permission would have been required for her exit. My current theory is that she left Sweden as a servant to the household of a diplomat or Swedish businessman in France who then had to move to Neuchatel with the war.... Any suggestions for source of these records?
