Steve, the parish books are ledgers that usually covers 10 years. The Helsingborg parish book you are referring to covers the years 1936 – 1945. The next Helsingborg parish book in this series would cover the years 1946 to 1955. There is a 70 years secrecy act for all church records which means that the Helsingborg parish book 1946 – 1955 isn’t available for the public until 2025. However, there is the Population of Sweden registers that are available up to 1990 accessible online. Most of these registers are decennial registers and exist for 1940, 1950, 1960, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985 and 1990. Most of these registers are available online, while others are available on DVDs. ArkivDigital has the following registers online: 1940, 1950, 1960, 1975, and 1985. I’m not sure which ones the Nationals Archives have available online. /Hans
