I know a bunch of Stockhaus that came to America after they went from Bjuraker to Hasslea to Torps, they originated with Jean Stockhaus and he came from Iggesunds bruk, Njutånger and married two times, according to the Hasslea-Bergsjö Min släkt book I have. From Jean to the time they went to Torp they are all in this book, I think. I correspond with some of the descendants of the Stockhaus familes that went from Torp to Isanti Co, Minnesota. here are also a lot of cousins in Isanti in the late 1800s. Let me know if you need any of the Min Släkt book or if you want to contact anyone from this family. I do not read or speak Swedish.
