I wanted to ask for help to read a birth record to see if I can find out the father's father's name somehow. The church record books in the Parish of Färlöv are missing from I think 1704 to 1760 not quite sure so I cannot find any further information. I have the birth record of the child and I have the marriage record of the father, but I am trying desparately to find information from these two records about the father's parents. And the mother's birth place from the marriage record.
This is what I was able to decipher (I think) myself. Birth record: 1769 6. February Kristinstads Lan Lasse Bengtson - Kerstina Torkelsdotter - Färlöv Baptized ---- Name OLA Elna Hansdotter? from Färlöf Witness Nils Olsson Simon Jönsson -alena Lassedotter from Färlöf young woman ---------------- dotter from Bjierlöv.
Marriage record: Lasse Bengtson from Färlöv Kirstina Torkelsdotter from ?
