Hello. I am searching for information on the family of my great-grandmother. Her name was Anna Andersdottir on her Emigrant's Attest. It was changed to Anderson when she arrived in the United States. She was born 22 September 1858, in Arbrå parish, Gävleborgs län, Hälsingland. Her Emigrant's Attest is dated 4 August 1894. She married my great-grandfather, Gustaf Bernard Dahlgren, on 10 September 1894 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, U.S.A.
Her obituary states that she had a brother, Erick Anderson, living in Sweden at the time of her death, 10 June 1937.
I have not done any research in Sweden before, and I do not speak or read the language. I am hoping that someone can help me to figure out who Anna's parents, brothers and sisters were, and perhaps give me the name of the appropriate place to write if I have more questions.
