We were told my uncle Otto Emil Johansson born April 21, 1900 in Arbra, Bolinas, Gavleborg,Halsingland, joined the Swedish Merchant Marines (was it called Merchant Marines or Navy?) We believe he left Sweden about 1921-1923. Are there any records that tell when he enlisted and when he left Sweden and on what ship? Thank you
