Hi! I have two ancestors who emigrated from Ölmevalla, Halland, Sweden. I cannot find any reliable information of where they went in the USA. First is: ANTON Elof Johansson (Königsson) Born 15 OKT 1863 in Åsa 2, Ölmevalla, Halland, Sweden (His parents were; König Johansson 1827-1921, and ULRIKA Beata Petersdotter) Rumor says he emigrated from Sweden, came back, and then "emigrated" again. Should be around 1888. Rumour also suggests that his second son is not his. The rumor even suggests that the story of him coming back to Sweden is a way of covering for his wife's by the priest: Ölmevalla (N) AI:11 (1884-1895) Bild 84 / sid 82 (AID: v94056.b84.s82, NAD: SE/LLA/13505)
Second is of his first son: Johan Birger Johansson Born 8 APR 1886 in Harestorp, Ölmevalla, Halland, Sweden He should have emigrated around 1905.
Ancestry give hints on emigration on both, but I can't trace them. No dates of death, marriage, children and so on...
