Thanks Sven! I had missed the inventories. Albert died without wife/children so his siblings are mentioned. Maybe an indication that he had already passed away. The NY passenger list of his arrival was also new to me. At least he didn't fall over board! I know I've heard that he may have gone to either US or Australia so of course he could have moved on. However the sources in Australia in the 1870's are not very extensive. Still a bit clearer now and it has given me a few ideas how to tackle another mystery...
