I’m not yet get very used to search from the swedish digital archives but I’ll try to find.. By the way, I found Hans Holtzman’s parents’ wedding date ”by accident”!

They got married in october 1720 in the gredadjärbataljon and Hans Holsman’s father is named as Jöns Hansson Holtzman. Now we know that Jöns’ father was Hans or he could have been Johannes as well (especially if he came from Germany). What cours to the familyname you are probably right as it was also written as Holtzman in his copulation.
Still have to search information about Jöns Holtzman.
Do you know if there are some archives about moving in and abroad from Sweden?
