My great grandmother came from Sweden with the birth name of Maja Kristina born to Johannes Svensson and Johanna (Bralanda) Johansdoter. She was born in 1872 Sundals Ryr, Goteborg and came to Pennsylvania in 1893 to Gazzam. She had a brother here also named Johan Albin, born in 1874. She had other brothers and sisters. She had my grandfather in 1897 and he was named August Neilson. She married Alfred Swedeberg in 1901 in PA and had two sons with him. No one knows August Neilson's father and I have been searching for many years to no avail. If anyone can help, I would be eternally grateful! I also have 2 postcards from Sweden that were sent to my great grandmother and Albin but they are in Swedish and I cannot read them.
